Suzanne's Story
Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Suzanne Noblett moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1994 to
pursue a full time professional playing career on the Futures Tour,
known as the developmental tour for the LPGA.
Prior to her move to the "city of churches", Suzanne enjoyed a
successful amateur career, winning the Girl's Indiana State High School
medalist honors twice in 1982 and 1984. In 1984, she was an All-State
first team selection, and represented Indiana at the National Prep High
School Tournament in Colorado Springs, Colorado before being honored as
an All-American.
After high school, Suzanne attended Western Kentucky University in
Bowling Green, Kentucky on Scholarship and enjoyed a successful college
career, garnering many top finishes for the Hilltoppers, MVP awards,
Co-Captain selection, "W" award, and was named in "Who's Who of American
Colleges and Universities".
Following college, Suzanne played as an amateur then as a professional on
the Central Florida Challenge and Sunshine tours in preparation for the
Futures Tour. She began teaching at Rolling Hills Country Club, sharing
the game she loves with others. Suzanne accepted a position at
Hamilton's Golf Course, a facility owned by the Bob Hamilton family.
Hamilton a former PGA champion was a renowned wedge player who defeated
Byron Nelson for the title. Suzanne worked closely with Jim Hamilton, Bob's son, and
formed the basis of her teaching philosophy. Although golf is a complex
game, she makes it simple and easy to understand. How? She Makes
Learning Fun!
Suzanne continued to play competitively and hone her teaching skills,
teaching at Fort Wayne Country Club, Swan Lake Golf Resort, and the
United States Golf Academy. Suzanne made Fort Wayne, her full time
teaching location as an independent professional and in 2003, founded
Noblett Golf Services Inc. Noblett Golf Service's mission is to provide
quality instruction to men, women, and children of all ages and
abilities. Noblett Golf Services, also provides golf vacation planning, special
event design, and professional speaking.
As a class A Member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional
Membership, Suzanne is committed to teaching the greatest game of all -
GOLF. She passes along the principles of honesty,
integrity, leadership, and fair play, the tools of a lifetime, that have
inspired her to achieve, excel, and grow both personally and
